Greetings from the wastelands of Orange County, California!
This blog was created as a journal of my writing as well as a sort of commonplace book for ideas, notes, and fragments. I have recently completed my first independent screenplay, Curse of the Wendigo, and after a number of delays and false starts I'm starting work on two other projects: A horror film satire entitled The Bone Goddess and The Wasteland, a dark fantasy western that is the pilot for a television series. Here is a sample from the latter:
My name is Sam Smith. I've been many things in my life: a gambler, a gunslinger, a cowboy, even a federal marshal. But the one thing I've never been... is a hero.
But if I'm going to escape from the Realm of Faerie and find the road back to Earth, that is the one thing I must become.
